Flowers with Purpose: Designing for the CWFF Private Dinner
We recently had the privilege of partnering with the CWFF, an organization dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of Black and Brown youth and families in Eastern North Carolina and beyond. Their mission is as inspiring as it is vital—uplifting communities, creating opportunities, and fostering strength for the next generation.
The private dinner we designed florals for was hosted in collaboration with the CWFF’s events team and NBA player Coby White and family, who currently plays his sixth season with the Chicago Bulls. Drafted 7th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, Coby has become an integral part of the franchise. But beyond the court, his heart for mentorship, community, and advocacy is what inspired us most. His journey—from CP3’s AAU team under Chris Paul’s mentorship to becoming a recognized leader in the NBA—told a story of resilience, talent, and purpose that we wanted to honor through our designs.
A Story Told Through Flowers
Our design brief for the evening was simple yet intentional:
Through intentional, minimalist, and sculptural design, our floral vision will transform the dinner space into an immersive and meaningful setting. Each arrangement will be more than décor — it will serve as a living expression of possibility, strength, and joy.
We created a tablescape that was modern, bold, and refined, reflecting both Coby’s presence on the court and the CWFFs unwavering commitment to impact. Clean lines, sculptural elements, and carefully chosen blooms symbolized resilience, growth, and the beauty of community. The florals weren’t just decorative—they were part of the narrative, inviting each guest to feel the story of perseverance and legacy woven into the evening.
Beauty with Impact
It was an honor to see how flowers could play a role in amplifying such a meaningful cause. As guests gathered, celebrated, and connected, the atmosphere was infused with both elegance and purpose. The florals served as more than centerpieces—they became conversation pieces, reminding us of the power of art to reflect deeper truths.
Gratitude and Looking Forward
We are deeply grateful to have contributed to such an impactful evening and to support the CWFF’s mission of nurturing the mental well-being of youth and families. Just as flowers can bring beauty and hope to a space, this organization is bringing growth, opportunity, and joy to communities that need it most.
We look forward to continuing to use floral artistry as a way to tell stories of strength, resilience, and possibility—because every bloom has the power to inspire.
