Reflecting on a Beautiful Summer: Juneteenth Celebration in Bloom

Though the season is winding down, we couldn’t miss the chance to share one of the standout moments from this past summer—designing flowers for a vibrant Juneteenth celebration with HUB RTP. It was an experience that beautifully blended artistry, community, and culture, and it truly deserves a moment in the spotlight.

From the start, our goal was to create floral designs that honored the significance of Juneteenth while bringing a sense of joy, elegance, and cohesion to the event. We chose colors and arrangements that celebrated heritage and togetherness, with each centerpiece and installation thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of freedom and unity.

What made this event particularly special was the community connection. Seeing families, friends, and neighbors come together around the floral displays added an energy that no design could replicate on its own. Guests lingered over arrangements, engaged with the flowers up close, and shared in the collective celebration of history, culture, and togetherness.

Designing for events like this is always a reminder of why we do what we do. Flowers are more than decoration—they’re a way to tell a story, evoke emotion, and create shared experiences. This Juneteenth event was a perfect reflection of that ethos: each stem, color, and arrangement was chosen to honor, uplift, and celebrate.
